Awesome campground right across the road from Devils Tower. First come, first serve - no reservations. We got there in the early afternoon and there were plenty of spaces (weekday in August).

One of the most epic campsites I've ever had. Right next to the river with a view of Devils Tower. Buffalo roaming, prairie dogs, deer! So lovely.

We stayed here for one night during our quick stop to view Devils Tower on our way to Yellowstone. We enjoyed the location of the campground with its proximity to the tower itself. We arrived on a late Saturday evening in July and were able to find and select a site that we wanted. The grounds were well kept and the bathrooms were decent. Each site was nicely spaced.

This was an awesome campsite. It was $20/night and most of the sites were pull throughs. Nearly every site has an awesome view of Devil's Tower too. There are flush toilets (the bathrooms are very clean). No hookups, but you can run your generator from 8a-8p. A great stop on the way through the Black Hills! Also stop to check out the prairie dog field. In the morning, tons of them are out. Overall, this is a beautiful and clean campground to stay at.

Really nasty personell with rude dispositon. Camp volunteer. Charge me for a whole day from 3 am arrival because "thats how hotels do it" seriously just drove 18 hrs from seatlle for that. Maybe i should have stayed in a hotel. Then when he checks the pay slip he comments, where is your senior citizen? My wife replies, nowhere and he says tou dont have enough in here. Gave me a harf time ans woke me up to prove i was a discover pass holder and disabled vet. Way to go dick, especially since he claims to be a vet. Great time other than dealing with that d bag.
