They are rather full during the weekends but thin out by Tuesday.
Beautiful! Spectacular! Exceeded all expectations! Updated baths are a plus. All of the lush gardens and unexpected tomato plants we're especially nice.
Wonderful KOA with a very open and spacious tent area. 1 showerhouse was just remodeled; the other one is in the process. Very nice camp store and restaurant, with an evening outdoor showing of Close Encounters of the Third Kind every day. Very friendly environment, and even a swimming pool! Great view of Devils Tower at sunrise. Restaurant is a bit pricey, so I recommend bringing your own food.
But that is just my opinion.
Great place to camp. I have been to this campground several times over the last few years. I like to your on my motorcycle and this place is great for that. You can rent a cabin or pitch your tent. They have laundry facilities and nice restrooms with shower's. The cafe is a good place to eat. I love the view of the mountain here. At night sometimes you see climbers sleeping on the side of the mountain.
The pool, playground, and restaurant could use some updating. I think they run on a small staff and could use an extra fix it man living on the premises to fix the odd and end that is noticeable throughout the park. What is also quite noticeable is the lack of trees and/or the planting of them. Every one of these spaces should have a tree.
What a location. Even in the tent area a strong Wifi signal was available. In the evening the movie „Close Encounters of the Third Kind“ was shown on TV with the Tower in the background. Awesome. The facilities were as anticipated for a KOA. Great place to enjoy the surrounding.
Stayed here 1 night. It is a great campground. The best view of the tower, friendly staff, it was very clean, and the showers were nice.
I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't for the fire ring issue. You can only have a fire if you bring your own fire ring. This was not advertised anywhere on the website.
Lovely place to stay. The staff are all very friendly and helpful.
